Peace be upon you all!
After a break in our activities, the MSKP is back up and running for 2007 insha Allah.
When: Saturday, January 27th, 10am-1pm
What: We will be serving lunch to those who are in need.
Where: 195 washington Avenue Ext, Albany, NY, 12205
Why: For the Sake of God, to serve humanity and hence serve God.
How: Just come and join us, bring a pair of hands and a heart!
I went to a Convention which was really motivational held in Toronto Canada : www.revivingtheislamicspirit.com
At the convention, a really important and motivating theme kept reoccuring, which was that Islam has alot to offer the West, in particular America and Canada.
This really should affect us as participants in this Soup Kitchen Project, to see that yes we can help our communities and yes this is Islam. This is the way in which we can Impliment and Actualize Islam, by doing these kind of activities.
I pray God helps us to impliment what we learn, and renew our intention to do this only for the Sake of God, and for His pleasure. Ameen.
The next Sk will be held Saturday January 27th from 10am-1pm and Volunteers are needed!! Please signup using the "Volunteer" button on the upper right hand corner of the page after signing in.

If you are interested in participating more in depth with the MSKP, please come to the meeting which will be held in Musjid Al Hidaya Saturday January 20th 3:30pm-4:30pm
